help: where can you keep a motorcycle in manhattan?

Hi, I'm a new member to the forum and I'm relocating to NYC. I fear I'll have to sell my vulcan 500 which I really like. But maybe there are ways to keep a bike in NYC that I don't know of .. garages... parkings?
