Hi all, just bought a 2005 V2K with 1500 miles on it in Pittsburgh, PA, on Ebay. I'm from Canada and the deals in the US are just too good compared to Canada. Probably save 4 grand, even including costs to get it home. Drove down with my motorhome and trailer to pick it up, 7,300 Kms. (4,600 mi.) round trip. Very enjoyable trip. Went through all the government red tape & inspections and the Bike is now offically Canadian. What a great Bike, and I can see from checking out this forum that you guys like it too. By the way this is a great forum as well; I've learned alot already.
My brother-in-law brought over his V-star and parked it beside my V2K; it looked like a moped. Couldn't believe it, and I really liked that bike and enjoyed riding it, however after the V2K other bikes will never be the same. The only sad note is that it's time to put it away for winter. HURRY UP SPRING!!!!!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on getting the V2K, but like Spok said it is pure torment to have it and not ride it. Just a bit of self abuse, maybe???

Again, welcome to the greatest show on the net!

Welcome aboard neighbour. Great to have another Canucklehead on the forum. And I hear you on the great values Stateside right now. My wife and I have already purchased all our Christmas presents (from Phat Performance), and have saved a bundle.

You are going to love that bike.

Congrats and welcome! In the 3-4 weeks that I've had mine, the weather has only allowed me to get a little over 500 miles on her. Sadly, going to be put up in the next week or so. You guys keep sending that cold air across the lake more frequently as of late. Becomes more of hastle than a short ride's worth. Good thing is that it'll still feel like new again come spring!

Hey, always nice to meet another V2K Junkie...

And it's a good thing you came down to the U.S. to get your V2K. Everybody knows the U.S. V2K's are faster than the Canadian V2K's anyway.

Just ask trikebubble, he'll tell ya...
