hey I'm new to this site. I'm here mainly because Kzrider.com is down and I really need something answered. I was able to buy a 2004 ZRX swing arm. I plan on swaping my swingarm on My 1981 Kawasaki KZ 750 LTD with this but I need to know what the messurment is from pivot point eye to eye. I need to know if I need to modify my frame to fit it or if I need to add some spacers to get it to fit. ANY help is very appreciated.

Josh

here are some pics of my bike:

Tis a beautiful thing. I don't know if you can swap them or not. May be too many years difference.

Everything is possible. But my guess is that the swinger is too wide and your frame needs the mods. Not the other way around. Good luck.

well kzrider.com is back up and I guess this si a VERY common swap. I only need to shave 1/8 of an inch off the frame to get this swingarm to fit. not bad at all. The ZRX swingarm is 9.25 inches from pivot eye to eye while the KZ is 9inches. Well anyhow. thanks for the replays.
