Hoping someone here has the info I seek. I have a friend with a Shadow 750. Can't remember right now if its the Aero or the Ace. I think Aero. Its shaft drive with a 160 rear tire. I am hoping I can get a 170 to fit with no problems. From what I can tell I think it'll be fine.

Anyone know for sure?

Not exactly the same, but my old Shadow Sabre 1100 came with a 170 rear and a 180 is the biggest you can go. The shaft drive doesn't leave much space. That being said, I think a 170 would fit.

I had a chain drive Shadow Spirit 750 and it had a 170 rear tire. Clearance was no issue.

The shaft drive eats up some more clearance, but, even so, I think you'll have no trouble with a 170.

My friend had a 2006 shadow 750 and before he traded for his vtx 1800 he had a 180 on it.
