Hi, my Kawasaki Zephyr 750's exhaust pipes under the engine are very rusty.

I was wondering if anybody can tell me how and what I need to clean it and prevent more rust from coming back.

Thanks!

I'd remove the exhaust system, have it either grit or soda blasted, and repainted with some good Hi-Temp paint.

I have a Kerker system on my 82 GPz1100 B2, when it started to get rusty, I took it to a metal spraying company when I lived in San Diego Ca called Flame Spray:Thermal Spray Coatings of San Diego They sand/grit blasted the system and then sprayed Aluminum on it.

The system was white in color, so I then used some PJ1 high temp black on it curing the paint job per the spray can. I've not had any major rusting problems since having the Flame Spray coating applied.

I'd imagine a similar metal spraying company could do your system too.
