I think I've read every article on the web as to how to paint a bike's engine and the only clear answer I've found is that there isn't one.
I am trying to paint my bike as an Alaskan winter project. Does anyone have a good idea on how?...do I sand polished aluminum, do I prime it?...do I have to worry about over heating where it is liquid cooled?...thin coat, thick coat?
I know I need high temp paint, but appear to be hung up on all of the other specifics. I also know I don't want to waste money needlessly. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
