83 kz750 spectre here. I'm getting like 50 miles to the tank. Not sure how many gallons it holds, going to have to check that again. Not sure what's up but something isn't right, :lol: - Now I just started riding it but I was dumbfounded when the tank was empty the next morning after the 50 mile ride prior. Going to have to double check this though and ride it on another full tank, but how many miles are you guys getting per tank, or per gallon? And how many miles to the tank should I expect? I was thinking maybe 160-170 miles? Does it really depend on how you ride? Should I just stay in the low revs as much as possible to get a better reading, because I have been opening it up any chance I get, lol.

I remember my kz1000 drag bike ltd getting about 100 miles to the tank but I'm thinking maybe it had a considerably bigger tank, not sure.

I get about 175 miles per tank on highway rides. My KZ550 gets about 60 mpg and KZ1000 about 50 mpg, but with a little larger tank. Two to three hours of riding between fill-ups is about it, depending on speed.

I get about 120 miles/tank on my KZ900. It has a 1-tooth smaller front sprocket though so the engine RPM is higher than stock. It averages about 35 mpg.

My KZ440 gets about 62 or 63 mpg, which works out to about 200 miles per tank. I'm gentle with it, so that may be more than others get.

Check your oil to make sure that the gas is not getting into the crankcase.

And an LTD tank is bigger than a gallon!

It says the tank holds 3.9 gallon and got 53mpg new. Sounds like you are running very rich possibly.

Filled up the tank today and rode 60 miles. The tank still looks maybe a bit more than half full. I did open it up a few times but for the most part rode conservative. Wish I could burn another 60 miles tomorrow and see where the tanks is at but it's suppose to rain. I doubt I'm getting 60 miles to the gallon though like it says at factory spec. This bike sure runs great now I must say. It's amazing what a little carb cleaning and a carb sync will do. This bike is definitely ready for a nice long ride. I'd be happy if I could 150 miles to the tank, and that is looking feasible after today's ride. Maybe the mile counter was fubar on my last run. I think I did have the idle set too high before so that may of been the issue as well.

I usually get around 100 miles and then I put on reserve just in case, almost only city use.

It actually does work, but not sure how many miles I'd be able to go once that comes on

On the highway at 120 km per hour, I usually get about 275km per tank from the GPz. I can strech it to 300km if I stay around 100km per hour. In town I usually get around 225km per tank.

On my 82 KZ1100 Spectre I can go about 110 to 130 miles before going on reserve. When it goes on reserve it takes about 2.9 to 3.1 gallons to top it up.

My factory owners manual has a misprint regarding fuel tank size. The manual says 21.4 liter or 5.7 gallons, my tank takes about 3.7-3.8 gallons to top it off when its dry.
