how to remove the magneto on a kx250

You need to buy a mag puller from your dealer. It is only around $15. You may also need a hand impact driver which can be bought at harbor freight or pep boys for under $10. It's the only safe way to get the mag off with out doing some sort of damage that will cost way more to fix than to buy the proper tools. If you have a bad stator you can have it rewound for less than half the price of a new one. I had a kx 250 done for $80.
