Sound's good Biko ,get some pics when you can. Just a couple of question's . Aren't you suppose to be repairing the house with the insurance check? New truck, new pipe's , wife's new diamond necklace, (didn't know about that one did you). Oh well guess the roof only leaks when it rain's. (LOL)

Hey! Isn't that one of those definitions of a "true biker".... someone sitting in their garage admiring the new chrome piece on their scoot while the fridge sits empty, the gas is shut off and the repo man is hooking up out front... :)

They are awesome. I love them. I have been wondering about taking out the baffles. I think I'll wait until I get my Dynojet.

re

 i set aside enough to do the house.i'm spending the tree removal
money they paid me-looks like the little ole chainsaw is paying for its self

bike is only six months old and i could not hold out any longer
sad part is after the intake is on i may have to take the bike to TX to get it tuned - there isn't anybody sharp enough around here to do it -that i've found yet

i'd really like mr. cheese to tune the usbIII, unless i can find someone closer
i might be riding with some of you TX riders for a day or two

the fella who tunes my T/A with LS1 edit is from TX-wth? is that all you guys
out there do out there is tune up peoples machines-seems like TX is putting
out all the laptop wizkids

Shoot, bike, tunin' that 1600 with a PCIII is a breeze with a laptop. Did it on my 1500 Classic - just get a map that's close to your setup from Dynojet (probably is already on the PCIII CD if you buy one referenced to your bike). No fear, FI is easy with these bikes. Hardest part is gettin' the tank moved over so you can access the injectors and the throttle position sensor wiring harness.

3" HKs, that will be SWWEEEEET!!

I agree with ispeed. There's nothing sad about a ride from Florida to Texas. Those of us north of the 33rd parallel are drooling for 50 degrees and 15 minutes of dry pavement.

You will like them. They are loud and have nice chrome. I had the 2.5 classic straights on my last bike and the sound was impressive. A friend of mine has the Big Straights on his Road Star and they are definitely louder. With the single crank pin of the Vulcan, you will get a really nice potato-potato rumble. 8)

So is it proper web etiquette to change your signature when you pay for the parts, or do you have to wait till they're bolted on? :)
