And I post my intro after I have already posted elsewhere. I doubt I am the first to do either.
I am a rider with fifteen years of experience. I have little mechanical know-how. I am aware of the basic principles of internal combustion and can identify parts externally. Here and there, I can display stunningly misleading bits of knowledge about the inner workings of an engine. Don't let this fool you. If I get near the bike with tools, it had better be something superficial. See my post in the mechanic's corber to see what I mean.
I currently ride a 1990 ZX70f as my daily driver. I have a trashed 1973 H1 behind my house. One day, I'll sell the tank and chalk it up to a loss. I took a spill at fifty miles per hour when the brake drum seized up on it. Oh well, thank God roads are soft.
I post on forums all the time. By my nature, I tend to gravitate toward forums in which I am the odd man out. This will be a departure. Glad to mee all of you.
