I was at church last night (for an activity for my son). While I was there, a group was rehearsing the passion play. One of the thieves couldn't make it to rehearsal, so they asked me to fill in. I was the unrepentant thief, so I only had one line. It was quite moving (literally and emotionally) to be forced to carry a cross, get pushed around by soldiers, then put up on that cross.

I'm having trouble describing what it felt like. There was a certain sense of . . . ah, heck I don't know. It was really strange. I really felt different from Jesus, since he wasn't there for being a thief.

If you think that was 'strange', you should go see the movie "The Passions of Christ"
I wasn't really planning to go see it, but I heard that Billy Graham endorsed it, so now I'm kind of thinking about it. Now I could really use a date.
