Hey everyone. Recently I ran into a deer and did some damage to the bike and myself.. But the bike was only cosmetic damage..

I need the Upper and lower front cowling
mainly the upper one, but i've been looking and the cheapest i found is ~$390..

I am trying to see if I can get one cheaper..

I have a 07 Ninja 250 (EX...7F7)

Is there some wicked cheap store?

If you don't mind sanding and cutting/drilling your own holes for lights, signals etc...

Airtech
Your best bet is Ebay or a junkyard, although undamaged fairings on the front of the bike is very rare.

A lot of the time you have to assess the damage to the online fairing and figure if you're better off than the one you have. Good luck though, I'm in the same boat with my EX, but I imagine I'm going to repair the plastic myself with ABS.

thats the damage.. i cracked it down the middle..

If I were to patch it (if i could) would it effect it at high speeds (>60mph)
if it was me, I'd just let my insurance take care of it.
oh, they did.. well, they gave me the money.. lol.. im just trying to cheat the system and such :p
finding an easy fix.. but can I just bond that, and paint it.. im just wondering.. if it will be effected at high speeds if i do that?
I recently downed my bike on a hairpin turn. I'm a new rider and panicked when I went slightly into the gravel and hit the front brake. Bike slid out from under me and cracked up the front upper fairing pretty good, bent the gear shifter lever and a small dent in the tank from the left handlebar. I also put two nice sized holes in my left knee and broke the pointer finger knuckle on my right hand. Doctors are taking care of that but I only have liability on my bike so I am forced to do the repairs myself.
I've got the fairing off ( MySpace ) and have ordered some ABS Weld ( IPS Weld-On 16 Cement: TAP Plastics ) from TAP PLASTICS along with some black gorilla tape (for the inside). Does any have experience with this plastic welding adhesive?
Any advice on the repairs are appreciated. The shifter was an easy replacement - $20 on eBay - and I've ordered a new left front turn signal and windshield screws w/nylon nuts. All in all, the bike should be in good shape when I'm all done but I'm concerned that the ABS Weld won't last through weather and vibration.
