It was 56 degrees yesterday, and is now 28 degrees, going down to 24 this evening. We didn't get any snow to speak of but we got a lot of rain, and a lot up north, which means New England should be in a good position for water this year. I just redid my Artesian well. Doing it yourself saves you 1000's of dollars, but it's mot easy if you don't have a machine to pull up the pump. I made a Lever set up so I could pull up four feet at a shot, then unscrewed each joint @ 20' foot intervals. I figured the well was like at least 600' feet down. It's between a aquifier from the lake on the top of the hill and the lake at the bottom of the bottom. I never have water problems, thank the Lord. I know some people that have wells that have dried up, and man, that drilling a new well is an expensive proposition.
