I have a friend who had a Nomad for a few yrs now. He loved the bike but got a great deal in the USA on a V2K. The V2K finally arrived after being in transit for about a month. I went over and saw it this weekend. I've seen a few around here but always assumed they were to big for me. Boy was i wrong. The seat is almost as low as my 900LT and because the center of balance on the bike is so low, it felt like i was riding my 900LT only with a crapload more power. All i can say is Wow! I've rode a few H/D Softails n a few Dyna's and 1 or 2 Sportys. As well as a few metrics. ( I've almost always owned Kaw ) I can honestly say that i've never rode another bike that felt as good or had as much power and handling as the 2000. I'll be doing alot of thinking this winter about how i might be able to pick one up. :)

I just don't know how people get themselves into a mess like this???

NOW you have TWO BIGGER PROBLEMS!

You have to choose a Color,
&
Which headlight to go with, Classic or the BIG BOY!

You've done it now, I wouldn't want to have to make those decisions. Tsk...tsk...tsk... Boy did he screw up!!!

I resisted, rationalized, compared, rode and overanalyzed my decision to death. But in the end, once I had ridden one, it was all over. Like Spok said, just do yourself a favor and start working the details out now. It'll save you a lot of grief

It's all over for you now. I made the mistake of purchasing the V2K as my first bike and I am so spoiled that there is absolutely no other bike I can enjoy more or just as much. I've ridden a few of my friends bikes like the Road King, Street Glide, M109, VTXs, Road Stars, Boulevards, etc. But for the comfort, power, performance, and great looks all in one, the V2K is the X-factor. Trust me....YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

The V2K TRACTOR BEAM IS LOCK ON YOU! Take a look, do a search on the forum, there have been others like you. Innocently intrigued by the Rouge, admiring from a far. But you, you had to ride one. You're done.

When I brought my V2K home, my brother-in-law (who is quite short) came over with his 1100 Vstar to go for a ride together. I told him to take my V2K. He absolutely refused. He has ridden for awhile, but he was afraid of it. We rode for awhile and I pulled over and insisted that we switch bikes. Well that was a mistake, I couldn't get him off of it. He loved it.
