Hi i have a 1992 ZZR 250 that wont idle. even after i've been for a long ride, when i stop, the revs will drop and it will stall. i have to keep the gas on to keep it going. someone told me it might be the air/fuel mixture. does anyone know what it might be? other than the idling the bike runs great. Thanks

Could it be that the idle adjustment is just set too low?

yeah, probably it, there is a little screw and an adjuster for it, i"m not sure where it is on your bike, but all you need to do is turn it up a little more so your RPM's remain constant. Mine is on the right side if that helps you any

Your idle adjustment is the round black knob on the left side. Idle should be set around 1500rpms for it. One thought comes to mind that your fuel is not able to get to carb. Try running your bike on the reserve and see if that works. If it does, then you have a blockage on your main fuel line in the run position. Double check all your vacuum connections and also make sure the vent line is not clogged as well.
