I'm new to this forum and I hope I'm doing this right. I have some triples, a 75 S1, a 76 H1, and a 75 H2. I really enjoy the older bikes although getting parts can be tough to impossible,(or reasonable). I have a question. Recently I aquired a 76 KH500 and need to get it titled. I only have a bill of sale and need a VIN. The older models don't have the 17 digit numbers, how do I come up with a VIN. The serial is H1F 52535, built in Japan, 7 of 76. The engine number is KAE 122660. Can anyone help me with a VIN from that information?

Thanks, Robert

Your DMV

Your Department of Motor Vehicles should be able to tell you exactly where to find the information on the bike..if not ask Beartooth Kawasaki at 1-800-556-3098, should they not be able to assist you, call Brad or Tim at 1-785-242-0600 adn ask them, they deal with some older vintage bikes and know mucho about bikes...
