I have been looking for a way to communicate with my passenger or another vehicle. So far I have been researching the Motocomm AudioBoss (http://www.csonline.net/crawford/Motocomm/Motocomm_Audioboss.htm) which seems to have everything I am looking for...

1) Rider to Passenger intercom
2) Hookup to FRS for communications with other bikes/vehicles
3) All required accessories (headsets & wires)
4) PTT feature so my V&H dual baggers don't interfere with VOX controls
5) inexpensive

Does any one have any experience using the AudioBoss or can anyone recommend any other products that would fit the bill.

Thank! 8)

good luck and ride safe

oh- the PTT is the way to go - the vox stinks at hiway speeds unless your fullfaced
and even then its not consistent-i mounted the switch on top of the kill switch housing
so i can hit it with my index finger while throttling

I use the chatterbox, had some problems at first but found out the dealer sold me the wrong headset. The vox is too finicky so use the ptt. By the way, have tested the chatterbox to 90mph and the sound is very good.

COMMUNICATION

I'm not a salesman, but check out August 2004 Sport Rider ad for www.collettcommunicators.com 3 Year warranty 100% Parts and Labor or call 1-800-665-7888... What might be even better is calling Beartooth Kawasaki and asking them what units they have for sale...they give forum users a 10% discount and the call is absolutely free. They do support, in fact it IS their forum that we ar eusing, so give them a call 1-800-556-3098.
