Welcome to Cali - confused on the taking the license test in New York or am I reading that wrong. You are going to hate the insurance rates you see unless you were in the city in New York.

The best information on your bike is in the service manual or maintenance manuals such as Haynes or Clymer.

Please support our sponsor - Beartooth Kawasaki - give them a call
at 800 - 556-3098 for a service manual.

Close by to you is Spectrum Motorsports in Torrance if you want to walk in - you also have a Cycle Gear store close by in Lomita.

Just so you know... You are going to be breaking state law by doing so. The penalty is worse if you get caught doing so - they recently had all the news stations doing a snitch line for neighbors to call in suspected registration avoiders. This is a hot topic as Ca is in a money crisis and is trying to get every dime owed to them at the moment.

Ps - if you claim ingnorance to the law, it won't matter. CA expects you to have your License within 14 days of residency.

Haynes and Clymer don't make manuals for the Ninja 250. Get the Kawasaki manual from your dealer or Beartooth or http://www.buykawasaki.com.

You can get lots of parts and accessories from places like:
http://www.ronayers.com
http://www.denniskirk.com
http://www.bikebandit.com
http://www.cycle-parts.com
http://www.parts411.com
http://www.jcwhitney.com
http://www.mawonline.com

I think the Ninja 250 is a great bike. I hope you love yours as much as I do mine. And like the other people said, if you're going to live in California, I'd just go ahead and get your license, registration, and insurance there. It's a lot less stress to just keep everything 100% legal. You'll live longer that way.
