Hello All,

Just a quick note to introduce myself. I have been reading the forum for a while and feel like I already know many of you. I have been informed and entertained. I finally decided to jump in and join the forum. I look forward to learning more about our bikes and our chosen obsession. ;-)

I bought my first bike in 1993 (Suzuki Katana) and then traded it in 1997 for a new 1500 Vulcan Classic. I sold that bike in August of 2000 and began working on the design and construction of our new house. No time or money for the hobby during that time. The house was completed in June of 2003 and after all of the dust settled, the bike bug began to set in again. Every time I would hear the roar of pipes in the distance, my ears would perk like a dog to the opening of a bag of chips. :p I finally managed to jump back in on 9-23-04 with the purchase of my Nomad. Since then I have been devouring any information I can find on mods and accessories. I can see that I will be going happily broke.

Thanks for all of the info everyone has shared and for all that will be shared in the future.

Hi Scott and welcome!

Looking forward to seeing pictures of your new Nomad.

I wonder if Tom Hanks could do a re-make of the movie Money Pit....only this time show him pouring his $$$ into a garage full of bikes. :) I'd buy it!

Always happy to hear from another "biker nut" ! 'Tis an all-consuming addiction we have, but, what a way to go, huh ? Keep your ear to the ground, spare change handy, and ride on and on and on and on and on !! If you ever get confused, see above. :) Excuse me, got carried away again, and forgot to say WELCOME ABOARD
