i'm having charging problems with my ninja ex 500-i removed the check plug on the cover and it had some oil floating around in it-is it supposed to be dry ? or does the oil not effect the brushes or charging of the battery.?
some bikes are dry and others are oil filled. there are no brushes etc. on this type of charging system, just magnets. on an EMS system (gsxr,kat others) have brushes and all that fun stuff. thats the reason they are mounted outside the motor.
