We finally got the motor in. I'm so stoked!!! I have been waiting on shims, and to get the valve cover back on. So now I can put everything back together.

It's the best present this old woman could have gotten for Christmas.

It will take awhile to get everything in. Clutch plates, oil, electrics to hook, the list is endless. Will tackle it a little at a time.

Could you please look at my thread in the Mechanical section and see what you think?

Thank you, Isy. We put tires down, and stuck the motor in between them. Then we lifted/laid the frame on top of the motor, wedged the motor in the frame, and rolled it upright. Too busy to get pictures, should have, though.

It doesn't look so forlorn now. I can now get busy putting everything back together. It's such a relief to finally have it in there.

You, my dear, are BAD AZZ!

After this, KZ750 rear swinger and disc brake in the back.......
I don't feel badazz  I feel very content, and purposeful.

Rear disks would be badazz, though!

Very cool!
How long before you think you will be ready to crank her over?

Bet your son will be getting some "private time" this week while you're out hiding in the garage!

Wanna see it run! Wanna see it run!

Way to go Darrell & Tina keep the progress and pics going!
I need to force myself to put some time aside for me to get started on the Spectre project myself!
