Looking for a temp sensor location on my 4010 trans KAF620R. What’s that hex head “bolt” left of the thermostat?

Not sure, looks like you could purge the system from there. You could always take if off and take a look..

I just might. I’ll post my findings here tomorrow. I’m thinkinkiv about drilling and tapping it to a 6mm thermocouple sensor in a dash mounted digital readout from Trail Tech.

Hi, looking temp sensor location, is that the oil one?, if so on most bikes it, under the engine located on the sump, if not look at your wire digram and trace back from the clocks to it, location...this mite help....https://www.kawasakipartshouse.com/oemparts/a/kaw/500b570bf8700223e4796a19/water-pump

I think you are right Kawasakian. It's for flushing and refilling the system/bleeding air out. Read the section in the manual on refilling the system and it should be mentioned there.
