My fan runs alot too, but in 90 degree temperatures in Texas, I don't blame it. It doesn't do it as much if I'm out in the open or in good wind, but back in the thick woods it tends to run more. I have a front end loader bucket to move dirt and rock. When I use it, the fan runs almost constantly. I get concerned and turn it off to cool for a while. Good excuse for a beer break. Later.
I think that the fan relay is ata low setting. I had one for a while, and the best advice is to start using a synthetic oil (Amsoil is the best I have found)and keep the oil cooler clean. After changing the oil over to better quality oil, mine didn't run as much.
Hope this helps,
