Size-wise it wouldnt bee too bad for a beginner. Certainly its light, and sits low, so it will be easy to balance. From what I remember from seeing one once that it is a sharp looking bike and looks bigger than its displacement...The price sounds a little high for a bike that small thats 15 years old, but alot would depend on the shape, miles, ect...might be worth it...for the specs go here: http://www.thegreatwhiteknight.com/specifications.html

That is a good price if the bike has new tires and doesn't need any kind of work done - and it's running great. 8) A fun bike with plenty of get up and go.
hey there. I own a 1989 454 ltd. It's my first bike as well. I got it from a guy for $500 in less than perfect condition. I do see them going on ebay for around$700-$1000. If you pay $1300 it should be in really good/excellent shape. It's got a good amount of pep for such a small bike. (with 2 riders it is a bit sluggish.) I'm ready for a bigger bike after about a year though. But it's treated me well and I have no real complaints. :D [/img]
My first bike is a 454 LTD. Just picked it up a few days ago. I am excited!
