I have a KAWASAKI 650. Trying to find the year and model. The numbers on the neck do not look right, they are or could be:650 060 894 or 650 000 894 or 650 066 894. There is a number on the exhaust system of KHIK7650BDGM311595. the motor number is KZ650BE057402. These are the only numbers i can find on the bike. Can anyone help me with a year and make.

the numbers on your motor help identify your model witch is a kz 650 b probably late '70 check the neck and if the label {bike specs service info is still under the seat check that it may help with the year. hope this helps......

I was told that the dmv should be able to take the engine ID# and find the VIN.

I don't know if this is correct but worth a shot.

It is not correct. Kawasaki numbers don't match.

You need to copy the vin down correctly, I could tell it wasn't right by looking at it.
