I don't have a site for you, but I can definately recommend getting a Service Manual for your bike. It will cover just about all you need to know for your bike and is avaialble from Beartooth Kawi with a 10% disc.

Good job!

Great job, rather. Our SPONSOR Beartooth Kawasaki deserves the special attention, not only for being our Fourm Sponsor and allowing us to share all of our information, but because IF you have had the chance to call them and ask about parts or a Service manual, they are on spot with asking you about anything else related to your bike. It's nice that they take the time not to just say thank you nad it's in hte mail, but truely take the time to see if there is anything else htat they can provide for you. It's almost like having your very best friend on the other end of the line when you call them. They treated me like I was their favorite customer when I called. I had their complete attention. They did tell me that my manual would take about 6 to 8 days, and I was VERY surprised when the UPS man handed me the book 2 days later! Yes, I like these people. 1Adam12, you're a good man to direct them directly to a source that will provide nothing but the best in service and dedication to customers. Good, rather Great Job!

well that dude on ebay decided to not reply to any of my emails and cancel the auction. how ever i did find a 2003 blue and grey ex500 with about 1500 miles on it. The dealership wants $4200 for it but i think it can get it for around $3800. It is in like mint condition. the KBB on it says it should be around $3500 do you guys think i should go for it? also there is a oakley sunglasses logo on the windshield is this a bad sign of how it was treated? what do you guys think?

thank you for all your great replys.

Unless the used bike has extras that you would have bought anyway then it may be cool, but if it's basically stock and ther is no alarm system, aftermarket pipes, and a serious Logbook or box of reciepts...someone would have to either have an awesome story that I could believe, or lower the price... Oh, and removing the fairing..I wouldn't recommend that. YOu will find the bike feels different and have to make more adjustments not only to the way it looks, but feels.

DEALership

Hey, they have to make some profit...the used bikes sems steep...what do they want for a new one? Also YOu will find that sometimes it is worth the drive to find a great dealership. I have one in my area that I won't use. (they don't work on bikes "that old." I wouldn't give then a dime of all of their plastic mirrors in the store. Still though there are other dealers 33-40 miles away that are great dealers. If you have a way (a truck or trailer of a friend with one you are ready to go shopping for a newer one...look around, be serious and lose some attitude...telling him to f off wouldn't make any nice-nice IF you ever DID have to use him for something majou...perhaps his work is awesome, but his purchase prices are a little steep.
