Hi everyone,

I am new on this forum and I hope I can get help for my problem. Here's how it goes: I have a kawasaki z1000 2010 that has an issue starting when the engine is hot. Basically, when my engine gets hot, the neutral light won't come on. Since the light is not on, the bike won't fire up. Even if I pull the clutch, there is no way I can get it to start unless it cools down which can sometimes take 10-15 minutes. The mechanics at Kawasaki told me I needed to change the clutch but I dont understand why it would be the case. I feel like I have read about the sensors for neutral position being the cause for this.

I'd like to know if that has happened to someone else in the past, and maybe get a second opinion.

Thanks in advance,
