Hey Guys, I know this is probably a long shot but does anyone know the timing procedure on a 91 KE100. Should the points be just starting to open when the timing marks pass each other? That's how it is on street bikes I work on. Never done one of these!! Any idea on a ball park compression figure!! Thanks

I bought a 93 ke100 earlier this year and had to do points and condenser to get it running...yes the points should just start to open when your marks line up...i used a digital multimeter to get it as close as possible...that mark is actually 20 degrees before top dead center...and as far as compression, mine has around 125-130 psi after 3 kicks and stays there.
