i have a v force 700 and it wont start only every once in a while when it does start it runs perfect but it doesnt start most of the time ive cleaned carbs fuel tank out and all electrical connections and when i do get it to run i havet to shake it side to side really hard but it doesnt always start more time no than yes by far

The usual problem with not starting is bad spark plugs or valves that are not properly adjusted. However, the pilot circuit in one of the carburetors can be plugged too.

You actually have to completely disassemble the carburetors and use cleaner in the carburetor body to clean the pilot circuits, just squirting out the float chamber does not do the job.

Sometimes if it is erratic and works most of the time, keeping a double dose of SeaFoam in the fuel for a few tanks will clean it out too.
