Hey All.

I have an old kx80 from 1986. My crank was trash´d so took it to a shop for a fix, but they threw it away :(. Is it possible to get a new one ? "i Googled it but no luck". What to do ?, maybe use one from one of the other kx´s will they fit ?..

Thanks Simon..

They threw it away and you are not demanding money from them? or even upset?

In most states mechanics must return your property (your part) even when it is replaced.

The crank may have been re-buildible

I would demand money and then take it else where.

I had a shop damage my atv rim putting a tire on. They informed but offered to order new one only after I demanded compensation. I just asked for cash for what the rim cost me. I took that and now I found that major tire shops like Discount Tire can change them on a machine with little chance of damage and they are cheaper
