IMHO youre describing a 2-stroke thats WAY RICH on top.... (main jet to big or needle to high) if the plug looks good at idle then leave the pilot alone and put air screw where it revs clean...

My problem is when i hit high revs it sputters.the plug look bad when it idles.so it doesnt hit the power band.my needle is on the third or second spot.im going to experiment with the jets.

those are PILOT JET sizes..... im talking about your main jets.... if it wont come on the pipe then its the main giving ya problems NOT the pilot (blubbering = rich , laying over/loosing power = lean)....
