Hi

What is KX125 '85 cylinder bore size normally? I measured top of cylinder bore 56.00 and the widest spot was 56.20mm (bottom of bore). Can I use normal piston here which diameter is 56.00mm?

What did you measure it with? .2mm is way too much difference!!

I measured it with a steel ruler. Yes, I know it's very unaccurate way to measure the bore. I have lost my digital caliper and I tried to measure it with ruler. I have to check it again with a proper caliper because that 0.2mm sounds very big to me.
There is no "step" on top of the bore (step what is usually worn by piston rings, hopefully you understand what I mean :) ) So I think that bore is still OK for use.
I just wonder do I have to buy new piston which's diameter is 56 or should it be little less than that for example 55.96mm? There is both types (56 or little less than 56mm) of pistons for sale.

You need to use a "dial bore gauge".
