My son's KX65 is starting to jump out of gear. More noticeable on long straights in 5th and 6th gears. Oil is good and fresh to proper fill level. Any idea what could be causing this? Cost to repair?

sounds like a shift fork may be bent. cost= $$ since you have to tear it down and split the cases. being its small it wont be too bad. two strokes are really simple and you could prob. do it yourself if you mechanically inclined.
good luck
