I just bought a center stand for my '76 KZ900 but it's too short so I'm thinking its for an LTD (16" rear wheel). Can anyone tell me how much longer the stand's legs are for the 18" wheel? Seems like it would be only 1" but if I'm going to go to the trouble of welding extensions, I'd like to be sure.

Thanks,
Rod.

If no one has the actual measurement for you, try using a 2x4 to put the stand on. If that gets it to the right hight then you know how much length to add. If not high enough just keep adding more wood under the stand till you get it where you want it.

The LTD models did not come with a centerstand due to the fact the low Jardine pipes got in the way. I measured a 900 centerstand I have here and from the center of the pivot to the foot of the stand it is just under 12". I'm not sure what stand you might have.
