I'm fixing up my 1991 KZ1000P and it looks like the boots that go from the carb to the engine need replacing. I went to my kawi dealership and they told me they cost about 20 bucks apiece, or 91 something for the set of 4 plus tax. Is there a cheaper way to get these? It seems like it could be a common problem because I have 2 of these bikes, and all of the boots seem to be bad. The part number is 16065-1135. I just have qualms spending that much for these stupid little plastic things.
