YEE HAW!!!! Thunder Lizard started this!!! (THANK YOU BUDDY!)
After seeing that he ordered some for his bike, I ordered one too!!! Now that I have the back on, I have ordered another one for the front fender!!!

Chaz was able to install using only two bolts that are hidden under the license plate  I LOVE IT!!!!

Da&^ that looks good on the back of her bike. I really didn't want to drill holes in the fender. But, this is what she wanted. And I must say it looks pretty D*&% good.

Cheri,
Where did you get it. Especially interested in the front one, after cleaning out the radiator of the vulcan (PO ran it through some fresh tar and gunked it up real good). I don't want to have to go through that again.

Oh great.....now I have something else to ponder about. Looks great on your bike Cheri, just wish I hadn't seen it. Think it would be a nice complement to my saddlebags, tank bra and chaps as well......grrrrrrrrrr. Leather or chrome...leather or chrome.........I'm so confused!!!!!!!

Looks pretty good... Should have moved the screw together a touch more... so they were completely in the black them painted the screws black so they don't stand out at all..... Somthing to think about when you do the fron since you won't be able to hide it with a liscense plate.... Thats too bad you folks have to use a full size plate on a bike.... ours are small for bikes.

i have the same model of 900 you have, i just put a mustang studded tank bib on and ive been thinkin of some mud flaps also, and i love the looks of the ones you put on cheriann, correct me if im wrong, but i have some concerns that the holes could lead to stress cracks.

Looking Good, Cheri!
and I see what he did, too..... I'll just have to move mine inside the rear fender.
I'm glad I could help..... it's not an item that's for every bike, but the LT's have a little "retro" in them that I want to exploit.
Leather and studs! Cool look, less polish than chrome!
Stress cracks shouldn't be an issue if you drill slowly. Fibreglass is pretty resilient. I might suggest some rubber washers, perhaps, to spread the load around, since you're running 2 instead of the stock 4 holes.
Lookn' good Cheribuddy and Chaz!
Remember the old "Accept" song? "london leatherboyz"? lol

The holes were already there in the mud flap when we got it, or maybe he would have thought to move them in a tad closer. At least the license plate helps hide them ;)

I do wish we had a smaller plate too!!!!
