I just bought a Chrome Light indicator panel for my 2003 VLN1500E. when you try to replace it with the stock one after you unscrew the bolts that hold it in place and pull it up, there are wire clusters going to each light bulb and they are under rubber cover. I was wondering how you replace the whole Light Indicator Panel with the chrome one, which involves unhooking the lights somehow. Thanks for your help

You have to disconnect the lights from the stock panel by pushing them forward thru the panel, then twist out the light lens(make sure you note which lens goes to which rubber connector), then push the rubber connector back thru the panel. Installalation is the reverse order, just make sure you put the right connector in the right hole in the new panel, then bolt new panel in place and check to make sure lights are correct.
