If you want something cheap and older you can check out the Gpz550's. In the 80's they were all that and a bag of chips. Air cooled so you know.

the suzuki line of SV's never got the respect they deserved as naked bikes but can outperform their counterparts with fairings.

So look around and you'll find most dealers have a huge stock of last years SV650 & higher CC's cheap because not many bought them but mechanically they are awesome. there is an article in last months cycle world about them
