Looking for People in Colorado

723 Views 11 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Stuart
I'm new to motorcycling but I already have my MSF class next week and I've read two books on complete motorcycle maintenance/safety, and the complete idiots guide to motorcycling which is more helpful than some may thing.

Anyways, I am looking for fellow riders in Colorado that can show me the ropes in a sense. Even if that just includes showing me their bike and all the different things and ideas they have for them.

Colorado

Hey I'm in Aurora, newbie too just got a 500R a few weeks ago but if you need someone to ride with let me know im always up for it.. I'd like to go today but the rain hasnt let up in like 3 days. Took it to work yesterday but the freezing rain on the way home wasn't the most fun..
Yeah, My motorcycle is in the shop for hopefully less than a week, I had the carbs rebuilt, the seat reupholstered, new headlight and gauges cleaned, all fluids flushed and refilled, I'd love someone to ride with once the bike gets back, my e-mail is [email protected], e-mail me and we'll talk about riding and stuff when I get my bike back.

Its actually rubber side down, shiny side up, and don't get it backwards! :D
Aaaw, jeez, they didn't teach me that when I did the MSF safety course and they gave me my motorcycle's license anyways...those dummies.
I live aprox 20 miles from the Colorado Border, does that count
It may count someday if I'm doing a little day trip to see some sights and go on a nice cruise, I may PM you and see if you'd like to meet me half way and go to a national park or somewhere cool.

P.S. in which state are you 20 miles from the CO border because that will have a big affect on those plans.

Due north on I-25 :p :p

Was down in Ft Collins last weekend chacking out the Bike shops & hopefully tomorrow if all works out we'll be in Boulder & can check out the bike shops there. Will have the car though as the wife & kids can't all fit on the bike
so that means wyoming :) cool, I went to school at CSU my first year i'm now going to school in denver and am 3rd year starting in august, so I'll have plenty of time once my bike gets outta the shop next week.

I may even go on a fishing trip with some relatives in Montana so i'll have to go through WY sometime
