I'm looking for a stock seat from a Vulcan 500 from 1996 to present. I actually only need the middle hooks and possibly the plate on the bottom of the seat that hook into the frame. Anyone have one?

The guy that re-uphostered my seat didn't attach the hooks back in the seat, so I only have the seat connected at the front and back. It's not loose, but I think I should secure it tighter.

I'll agree with you on that. I don't think I'd be comfortable with essentially just the bolt in the fender and a plastic wedge holding the seat in place.

Good news. Just learned that the guy found the part. He agreed to pay for the seat to be repaired. Love the memory seat foam, but need to be locked down a little more...
