hi,i know i'm in the wrong forum but i figure it might get more exposure. anyway's, i took off my floorboards and put forward controls on and want to see if any 900 customs out there would like to convert to floorboards. i know it's a long shot since most riders love their floorboards and probably already have them. i did post to the selling/buying section first but i figure i give this a try too, thanks! robert

I don't think mounting the floorboards on the Custom is a straightforward mod. Not to mention that it would look weird

i want to say that it is just for the fact that when i was looking into changing over before mapam came out with their aftermarket forward controls that the parts guy said it could be done but would require alot of parts and alot of money to convert over to the forward controls and probably be worth waiting for some aftermarket company to come out with their product, which i did. anyway's, thanks for the input,maybe you know more than the guy at the kawi dealer but when i look at both bikes it does look like a complete switch out of brackets. and the reason i thought about putting the boards on here was that i remenber seeing someone post a question about converting their custom over but didn't know how or what it would cost to do so. thanks,robert
