Got my used mule 2wd recently, did a little measuring and calculating, and I am going to end up with about 65 bucks spent to make the bed a powerdump. Have a 2000lb capacity Harbor Freight winch that went for 49.95 that will supply the lifting power. Bolting it to the frame just ahead of the torque convertor and running cable to a pulley mounted on the centerline of the vehicle. Then up to a second pulley that will be bolted to a bracket on the top of the rollbar. From there the cable drops down and will go to a plate mounted under the bed, and it will lift from there. Should have more than a 60 degree angle for dumping, and I'll mount the winch control on either the front panel or under my legs. Can't see any reason why it shouldn't work, nor why I should spenmd big bucks for something I can do myself. Any thoughts?
