Right, I have a friend with a Vn1500 Mean streak, and while he absolutely loves it, he saw a bikini fairing on one in a car park, and wonders if it would be a good idea? So my questions are:

1) Are they any good?

2) Do they make it look stupid (in your opinion?)

3) Any one know of any websites that sell them, preferably in the UK? I need to print out some pictures so he can see what types are available? (he is old and doesn't like computers!!! )

i've seen the fairing that goes around the headlight only and covers the bars
ans a stubby windshield on it (only one i've ever seen)i used to have a link

I think that thing is real unique! I like it. I tried to contact the guy on cruisercustomizing but he wont respond. Hasnt made a post in almost 2 years. I would be interested in a fairing like that with a few changes.

They look great on cafe racers, but that's about it. They're basically useless for wind / debris protection.
