Yeah, mine came on at about 100-110 miles the first 1000 miles on the odo, and there would be about 1.7 - 1.8 gallons left in the tank. Now it doesn't come on until the trip odometer hits about 150 miles, but I'm still only putting about 2.5 gallons in when I fill up. Don't know if the gauge is more accurate or if I'm getting better gas mileage now...
