Even though I own a Mean Streak, I think it's nearly a toss-up if you're going strictly by looks (although I HATE those solid disc wheels on the V-Rod). If all I cared about was sheer speed, I'd buy a V-Rod (well, I would if I could afford one 
). But the V-Rod is not touted for its handling capabilities or its comfort, and those are the main reasons I bought the Mean Streak. And I've not been disappointed in either arena.
So, bottom line, I find the Mean Streak much more attractive because it's an all-around more capable machine, and it costs a buttload less than a V-Rod!
