I just made these for my 900/LT.I bought the lowers from the dealer and they did not help me choose the right ones so I go the ones that require a light bar.they are very small and did not do anything at all.i cut these out of lexan.they are taller and a little wider.I rode today for the first time and noticed that they help a lot with the wind coming up to the chest. It was sooo windy today that I had a little head movement from the top of my helmet. My windshield is set on the middle notch and I have a scorpion ex 100 half helmet.I will have to ride more to make a good decesion on what the next step should be.Are they too wide at the bottom or do i need to lower my windshield and go from there??

here is a pic

The ones i bought from Kaw were the wrong ones. They were the one that required a light bar which I dont have and that explains the chrome cutout on the front.I could not make them wide because of the engine gaurd. These work fine and clear the bar by 1/2" they are taller and wider than the originals and extend up to the back of the turn signal.the good thing is i can always cut them down some more.the laxan sheet was only 11 bucks for a 14 x 28 sheet.for that price you can have all different kinds of shapes and sizes.

I bought the oem lowers which came with the chrome brackets then all you have to do is go by the lexan and make a pattern and start cutting and sanding.Drill a couple of holes and bolt them on.Here is a pic of the oem ones.See how small they are?
