I've got a MSD fuel injection enhancer on my harley, doesn't use maps, but has 4 adjustment screws, 1 to select a fuel curve (out of 4 presets) the other 3 are to set desired fuel mixture at low, mid, and hi rpms. Works OK but I think a Power Commander is better.

Z, just got to thinking maybe a Multi Spark Discharge would improve performance and mileage at a reasonable cost. I am not interested in re-mapping.

Probably not. 1500/1600 Vulcans only run 25 deg ign advance and that has to be pulled back with the big bore kit and cams. It's indicative of a really good burn in the combustion chamber with the stock ignition. An appreciable improvement is unlikely.
