It seems that every time I look for parts for my 1988 Mule 1000, the web sites always return parts for a later year. For example, I was looking at carb. parts today (see my other post), and it said that the KAF-450B1 was made in 1997. Everything looks right with the parts breakdown to indicate it is in fact a KAF-450B1. (The dual-carbs. in the parts breakdown is a clue.)

Being a computer guy--I can only imagine that it has to do with the fact that in 1988, the internet and computer-based parts breakdowns didn't exist so the first year they computerized it was 1997?

Anyone else have a reason why this is?

Thanks,

Otis

Do not worry, all the 1000's are the same. I never see a model year when I do a parts look up, unless I use Kawasaki.com.
