I recently bought a Mule 2510 and it is great! It's gas not diesel. Works perfectly for my hunting needs and for around the farm. Anyway it is really cold blooded and takes a while to warm up. It does run well when it is warm although after it has been running a while the idle starts to speed up which makes shifting into gear hard. It also idles high enough that I don't even have to give it gas to make it go. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of what was going on with it. thanks.

When the idle starts climbing on its own it is a signal that the pilot fuel circuit in the carburetor is beginning to become restricted. You may want to try SeaFoam in the fuel, double strength, for two tanks. It just may clean out the gum.

If it does not, then it is time to disassemble and thoroughly clean the carburetor.
