i would like to start out by thanking all of you for the host of information you have provided since i bought my 2005 500r. i have read many of your opinoins about whether to get muzzy's or sarachu's. my question is the difference in price. obviously, with dual pipes, i imagine that will be one con of the 500r as far as my wallet is concerned. i tend to lean towards the muzzy's because of the way they scream. my second question is whether or not the muzzy's cans are larger than the sarachu's? i prefer big cans. there's a joke in there. anyway, with muzzy's will i need to rejet? these questions are in reference to slip-on's. thanks for the help. FULLTILT.

in my opinion i would do a full exhaust for multiple reasons.

1. more power
2. louder (that seems what u want)
3. big weight reduction
4. looks better

these r just my thoughts, i have the muzzy 2-1 race system, dyno jet stage 1, and k&n which came to a total of $620 installed which isn't bad. i raced a stock 500r last night and by 60mph he was about 5 bike lengths behind.

i've got the black one too. it's pretty sweet huh? heads seems to turn. as for size i'm talking diameter, such as your muzzy in comparison to the stock exhaust. the sarachu's seem pretty thin. this would be a good question for anybody out there. what's the difference in horsepower gain between the muzzy and sarachu both full exhaust and slip-on's? hard question to answer i know.
